The Faculty and Staff at JBMS are pleased to recognize (starting from left to right) Stephanie Barnett (6th), Christian Recker (6th), Peyton Thomas (7th), Luke Leidy (7th), Erica Brunner (8th), and Lexxis Miller (8th) as students of the month for December. Pennies for PeaceThis year, our seventh graders here at James Buchanan Middle School raised over $3,000 for students in Afghanistan. Under the direction of Jerome Staniszewski, a geography teacher at the school, who was very concerned with the learning conditions that those children are facing. Our kids were able to see just how much of a difference they can make in the lives of others. Within five days they were able to collect over $650 in pennies.
