Mrs. Michelle Bennett, Special Education Director, began her career with the Tuscarora School District as a middle school learning support teacher for the 1997-98 school year. Since that time she has continued to work in the district in a variety of capacities including, JBMS Assistant Principal, Mercersburg Elementary Principal and currently as the Special Education Director.

The Tuscarora School District is committed to helping ALL children learn and grow both academically and social emotionally. It is our goal to provide a variety of services that support students who might be struggling If you have concerns about your child's academic or behavioral progress in school please talk with your child's teacher and building administrator about those concerns. Attention Parents: Tours for new special education students or special education students transitioning to JBMS or JBHS can be scheduled now.
 
The following group tours are scheduled:
JBMS- August 13 @ 9AM or August 20 @ 1 PM.
 
JBHS August 13 @ 9:30AM or August 20 @ 1:30PM.
