Food Service



Welcome to the Tuscarora Food Service Program

We offer our students a delicious and nutritious breakfast and lunch each day! We contract with Metz Culinary Management to operate our food service program. Please use the links to the right to access the monthly menus, add funds to your student's lunch account, or complete an application for free and reduced lunch.
Healthy Snacks and Treats
Celebrate Your Child's Special Day with Healthy Options. In accordance to our wellness policy, healthy party treats are encouraged. Healthy treats and snacks can be ordered through each school cafeteria. Please see the attached form for details.

***New Info for Back to In-Person January 19th***

Attention Parents of IN-PERSON Elementary/Middle School students :

The drive-up Wednesday 8-9am meal handouts for remote Wednesdays has been changed to take home meals. Starting January 19, 2021, students will be able to take home a breakfast and a lunch on Tuesdays for consumption on remote Wednesdays.

Elementary: students will have a sign-up sheet in their classrooms on Mondays (this first week it will be on Tuesday the 19th) that they can sign up on. Meals will be handed out to them at the end of the day.


Middle School: students will be offered a meal bag as they leave school on Tuesday.


High School Parents >> check back here next week for remote Wednesday meal information.


PLEASE NOTE-once your student is back in-person, they will no longer be able to receive meals through the link below (Wednesday afternoon pick-ups from 3:30-4:30pm). Those meals are for fully remote students and community members 0-18 years.

***Attention TSD Families-Meals for Closure***

The TSD school board voted Monday December 7, 2020 to move all students to remote learning starting Monday December 14th-Jan 18th. We remain committed to offering your children nutritious meals throughout this closure. As you may know, due to COVID-19, all students may receive a free breakfast and lunch for each school day.


For meals for Dec 17- Jan 18: families can fill out this survey each week (no pick ups on Dec 30th due to holiday closure) from Thursday through Sunday. Pick up will be on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30pm at the High School, Mercersburg, or St Thomas. Children will receive meals (5 free breakfasts and 5 free lunches) for consumption on Thursday and Friday of that week plus for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of the following week.  All community members’ ages 0-18 years are eligible. Parents must fill out the survey each week to receive these meals. A weekly reminder set up in your cell phone is highly recommended. It is hard to add meals once the survey is closed. 


Finally, The Food Service Department would like to thank all our TSD families and community members for adapting to all the changes we’ve had to make this year. It is greatly appreciated! Please stay safe!!
